CEC Pie Sale Now-October 15
Dear LCMCS families and friends,
Please read the message below introducing our Pie Fundraiser with the Willamette Valley Pie Company (WVPC)! We're excited to raise money for our students' class camping trips and field trips.
WVPC makes delicious, hand-crafted desserts with simple, clean ingredients. They support local farm families by using berries grown in Oregon's Willamette Valley and sourcing other fruit as close as possible. Their pies use healthy, all-natural, non-GMO ingredients, including sustainably sourced wheat flour.
Important Dates and Deadlines
Due to WVPC’s schedule the fundraising window is short, so please note these key dates:
-
Order and Payment Deadline: October 15 at 4 PM
All order forms and money owed must be submitted by this time.
-
Pick-Up Date: Wednesday, October 29
Pick-Up Time: Starting at 3 PM
The final time and location will be confirmed, but plan for a short window starting at 3 PM. We do not have space to store pies, so prompt pick-up is essential to keep them frozen!

-
Order Forms: Flyers with order forms will be sent home this week. They include photos and product descriptions.
You can also find extra copies and other resources on the "Fundraising" tab at www.wvpie.com.
Collecting Orders and Payment
Families are responsible for collecting all orders and payments from friends, family, and coworkers.
Orders can be submitted using this Google Sheet or the paper order form.
-
Payments can be made by cash, check (payable to LCMCS), or through the ParentSquare link attached here.
When submitting payment online, please provide a summary of the total number of pies sold, not a breakdown by individual pie type.
-
One compiled order and one payment (cash, check, or online) must be submitted to the school by the October 15 deadline.
For example, you can collect funds from everyone via Venmo and then write one check for the total amount.
Checks should be made payable to LCMCS (not Willamette Valley Pie Company).
Get Creative! Many people, like realtors and insurance agents, buy pies as client gifts this time of year; consider asking local businesses!
Dietary Notes
All pies, except the Mini Fruit Pie Variety Pack, use a 100% butter crust.
WVPC does not offer gluten-free options for this fundraiser.
Distribution and Storage
All pies are delivered frozen and packaged to maintain their quality.
Please bring a pre-chilled cooler with ice packs when you pick up your order. You must freeze products promptly upon pick-up to maintain their quality. Heavy blankets or cardboard boxes can also help insulate them during the drive home.
Thank you for supporting our students' trips! Let's make this a success!
